As a working adult, you need a degree program that fits your busy schedule, as well as your interests. American International Academy understands.

Colleges and divisions of the Academy offer a range of vocational undergraduate and graduate programs that enable you to explore various disciplines. We develop our degree programs, often in collaboration with industry professionals, to ensure quality, relevance and rigor.


The student can choose between two types of study in most majors:

1- Preparing a thesis. The student specifies the subject of the thesis.
Academy's approval is needed.
2- Preparing short research papers in 6 tasks presented to the student.


Academic Supervision: 

Universal Studies Academy undertakes the functions of supervising Arabic assignments and research of AIA students through its Academic team. Also, a team of Academics has been allocated as general supervisors at AIA colleges.

NOTE: Students may petition for alternative majors not currently offered. Students may also have a dual major or a major with a minor subject area. If a dual major is listed, the two subjects must be compatible. (For example: Business Administration could be combined with Economics). For more majors, please contact us.

College of Business and Management

All majors of the College of Business require the student to have good management skills. Most majors in this college are updated and developed; they also provide students with dynamical and practical methods hard to find in traditional learning. Distinction in this college and others depends on the background knowledge of the student in the major he had chosen. The programs of this college provide the students with high scientific value which contributes in supporting qualifications and managerial skills in different fields of management business.

Currently the College of Business grants vocational degrees of Bachelors, Masters and Doctorates in the following majors:

• Human Resources Development 
• Management Development 
• Marketing and Communications 
• Sales Management 
• Total Quality Management 
• Tourism Management 

College of Arts & Humanities

The specializations from the College of Arts and Humanities are usually highly vocational. There are generally no problems for the professional practice of any of these specializations except in the field of formal education. Many teacher positions require traditionally accredited qualifications or a degree acknowledged by a Department of Education. The AIA diploma is not the best option in this case. A AIA DL Academic degree constitutes a good way to provide solid support to your knowledge in certain specializations or to complement a traditional background with innovative approaches.

Currently the College of Arts & Humanities grants vocational degrees of Bachelors, Masters and Doctorates in the following majors:

• Human Development
• Historical Studies
• International Relations
• Public Relations 
• Political Science 
• Journalism and Media 

College of Graduate Studies

It is the body which oversees the Graduate Studies in all AIA colleges and performs the process of evaluation, developing, follow-up and authenticates theses and dissertations. The college coordinates with other educational institutions regarding research and graduate studies. Also, it supervises directly all research of majors which are not included in other colleges.

The College of Graduate Studies serves as the admissions office for all graduate students on all AIA programs.

The College of Graduate Studies grants vocational degrees of Bachelors, Masters and Doctorates in the following majors:

• Diplomatic Studies
• Occupational Health and Safety.

Low Tuition fee, available in Arabic language, and by full distance learning.

Our Programs

Choose the Right Major

The success of a American International Academy degree program lies in its completion, not just in the decision to begin. Therefore, it is very important to choose the field of study that strengthens your professional profile, and that satisfies your interests. The right choice of major is vital in fueling your motivation and in completing your distance learning degree. AIA may adjust nearly every major to any degree level.

American International Academy degree programs are designed in collaboration with academic and industry professionals to ensure quality, relevance and rigor. Our curriculum is regularly updated to reflect the latest proven concepts, methods and practices.

The American Internationals Academy offers various programs through Distance Learning Program (DLP) for professionals and adults. All majors come in Bachelor, Master and Doctorate programs.
 

1- Professional 2-Year Diploma Program:

Credit Hours: 72
Number of courses: 6
Prerequisite: High School


2- Professional Bachelor Degree Programs

This program provides student with a general knowledge and wide perception in a specific field of science and specialization. The student gets through it a full understanding to all subjects related to that field.

•  125 accredited hours. 
•  Number of courses: 72
•  Prerequisite: High School or 2-Year Diploma
•  Study method: reports and research + graduation research.

The student must have previous credit hours equivalent to at least 75 credit hours.
This can be done through previous incomplete university studies or a post-secondary diploma, in addition to training courses and practical experience, preferably in the required field of specialization.


3- Master Degree Programs

• 45 accredited hours.
• Number of courses: 6-8
• Prerequisite: Bachelor Degree
• Study method: reports and research, 70% courses + 30% Thesis.

This program provides student with a specialized learning in one field of science and knowledge. The student earns a practical knowledge and specific skills. The specialized learning provided by American International Academy in this program would be a necessity in the field of working.

The curriculum guide of the Master degree program depends on studying a number of courses and on the thesis which suits the curriculum guide and the personal objectives of the student. It is prepared in 75 to 100 pages. 


4- Doctoral Degree Programs

• 45 accredited hours.
• Number of courses: 6-8
• Prerequisite: Master Degree
• Study method: 70% courses + 30% Dissertation.

This program provides student with the highest level of specialization in any branch of science or knowledge. Student would earn high knowledge in the major field and a full control on specific skills which they should work on developing them and defending them in their dissertation.

The student should prepare a dissertation in 75 to 100 pages and send it to the Academy to be revised and evaluated, in some cases; the academy could accept previously published materials by the student as a supporting source to earn the Doctoral degree. 


5- Combined (Master + Doctorate) Degree Programs

If a student would like to join this program, he should study the assignments of the two programs then to prepare a dissertation to be qualified to earn both Master and Doctor degrees.

The requirements of the first degree equal a Master degree after the student present an independent research study (this study is considered the tenth subject of the total required subjects). 

Duration of the program is 3 years or less.

6- Training and Continuing Education Program

Through the program of training and continuing education established by the Academy and started at the end of 2010, in partnership with the Academic Training Institute in Palestine, the Academy prepare unique, sophisticated and advanced training programs. These programs are prepared by skilled and professional trainers. We offer these programs with very convenient fees.
